Ascenda Care’s mission is to play a pivotal role in the lives of adults with intellectual disabilities and/or autism by providing support that appreciates and promotes a higher degree of self-determination and gratification. We utilize the positive behavior intervention approach to encourage, acknowledge, and reinforce choice and the development of skills that leads to a greater degree of independence and life fulfillment.
The vision of Ascenda Care is to provide services to adults with developmental disabilities and/or autism that enriches their lives, facilitating meaningful and productive experiences. Ascenda Care ventures to provide individuals with the assistance necessary to reach new heights of independence and self-determination, overcoming barriers and obtaining personal fulfillment. This mission is grounded in an institution that seeks to make continuous efforts to improve our level of quality in policy development and service delivery.
